A perfectly bone-dry Chenin Blanc from soils that are a mix of degraded gray schist (schiste grezeaux), sandstone and talc. Very chiseled and stony, mineral... ideal! This is a relatively new cuvée for the domaine, and a welcome addition to their lineup of exceptional Chenin Blancs. Compared to the Varenne de Poirier and Varenne de Combre, the Mailles A L'Endroit has a bit more density and weight in the mid-palate.
