Jousset 2024 Nagori Chenin Blanc
An unconventional and thrilling agricultural venture bringing together Catherine and Hervé Bourdon—formerly the proprietors of the magnificent "Petit Hôtel du Grand Large" in Quiberon—and their winemaker friends, Lise and Bertrand Jousset, who are heavyweights of the Loire natural wine scene. In 2021, they joined forces to plant 1,500 Chenin Blanc vines across two plots in Saint-Pierre-de-Quiberon, just a stone's throw from the sea in Morbihan—vines they tend to with the utmost natural care. The goal? To eventually produce 2,000 bottles of Breton wine imbued with the character of this unique terroir, sculpted over millennia by iodine-rich winds. We are absolutely delighted to follow them on this journey. From: painbeurre.bzh
Wine from Morbihan? You bet! And what a treat it is. A pure Chenin—taut, lively, saline, citrusy, and briny.
