A tribute to his mother, A François(e) comes from a historic plot of St-Lambert-du-Lattay previously dedicated to liquoreux (sweet) wines. A selection of the heart of the plot and the best barrels - the rest is blended in the regular Anjou cuvée - the vines planted in 1990 grow on powerful grey schist and rhyolite with no topsoil. It is usually one of the more powerful wines of the domaine.
