The grapes come from a single 0.72 hectare vineyard planted in 1978. The wine has more red fruit that is incredibly lifted. Ripe fruited, with a bright palette that provides and incredibly fresh wine.
Grapes are hand-harvested, then kept whole-cluster for crushing. Maceration occurs for 14 days in large vats, with just a few pump-overs. The wine is aged 10 months in old barrels. No fining, with minimal amounts of sulfur are added as needed.
