Chateau de Verreux 2023 Trousseau (Arrives 10/28)

This is 100% Trousseau à la Dame from a small plot on silty clay over grey marl soils. Grapes are fully destemmed before fermentation in stainless steel and ten months of aging in old barrels. It pours a vibrant red in the glass with initially delicate aromatics that open up more with air. It's light bodied and fresh with great acidity and a strong mineral core. Classically styled Trousseau that speaks of the Jura terroir with elegance and vivacity.
