Chateau de Verreux 2023 Poulsard (Arrives 10/28)

The Verreux Poulsard comes from a small 05ha parcel in En Brut planted in 1988. The grapes are destemmed and fermented in stainless steel, where it ages another ten months before bottling. It's a classic, light Poulsard with just a hint of reduction that blows off as the fruit opens up over the course of a meal. Quite enjoyable on its own, this is best served with a slight chill and would be a good accompaniment to lighter chicken or seafood dishes, or any variety of cheese and charcuterie.
