A field blend mostly consisting of Jaen (Mencia), Alfrocheiro, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo). Planted on granite and clay soils, the vines range from 20 to 40 years of age and 480 to 620 meters in altitude. roughly 20% whole cluster fermentation in stainless steel is followed by several weeks of maceration on skins. Aged in 5000 L vats and barrels for 11 months. The wine shows a great purity of fruit with an appetizing structure marked by dense tannins.
