Apatia 2018 Negua

Negua, which is Basque for "Winter", is a blend of 80% Tannat and 20% Cabernet Franc, aged in a combination of stainless steel, concrete vats and some barrels. The extra time really shows the potential of Apatia's wines, with explosive fruit tempered by a strong mineral core and layers upon layers of woodsy spice.
