Roses of Spring, 2026!

5/16/26 -

The Rosa Rugosas may not be blooming yet, but they will soon, which means that it's time to stock up on delicious Real Rosés for spring and summer enjoyment! We're not talking about those insipid rosés with the cute names and fancy bottles, we mean real wines from small estates, practicing great farming and slow wild yeast fermentations, creating subtle, complex wines both for casual refreshment and for fantastic food pairings as well.
And many of the wines in today's offer will drink beautifully for 3 to 5 years, so don't be afraid to tuck some away for future pleasure!

A few notes:
2025 is a superb vintage for the Baudry Chinon (maybe the best ever?) but the supply is low again this year. There may be more by the end of the summer but best to grab some now...

The Philippe Gilbert Menetou-Salon Rosé is absolutely beautiful in 2025, 100% Pinot Noir, more delicate and pretty than it's counterparts in Marsannay, absolutely delicious!

Christelle, Yves and Jacques at Domaine Les Fouques have once again made superb Côtes de Provence rosés at their beautiful Biodynamic estate near Hyeres. Silky, subtle, complex and refreshing, they are outstanding wines and superb values!

Don't miss the lovely Biodynamic 2024 "Rosé du Cou-Cou" from Domaine de Crève Coeur in Seguret - it's one of the prettiest rosés of the Rhône and a sensational value!

The Feudo Montoni IGT Sicilia Rose di Adele is a long time favorite at Chambers Street, and for good reason! Feudo Montoni is one of the most historic properties in Sicily, located in the center of the island. While we think of central Sicily as being quite hot, high elevation and cooling winds from the North create a great micro-climate for viticulture - plus, phylloxera never reached this remote zone! Their 100% Nerello Mascarello rosato shows lovely peach, green apple, rose petal, and strawberry. - Marisa Licandro

The 2025 "La Rosa" from Can Sumoi (Raventos i Blanc) is a blend of Xarel-lo and Sumoll, native to Catalunya's Penedes region. It's drinking wonderfully now - delicate on both the nose and palate, and beautifully balanced with well integrated acidity. - Nick Douglass
