Valle Reale 2023 Trebbiano d'Abruzzo

This Trebbiano is a blend of a small part of the Popoli parcel and another part of Capestrano. An important thing to note is that this is Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, not the more widely planted Trebbiano Toscana. 

The wine is aged in stainless steel on the lees for 6-9 months. While this brings a bit of creaminess, the limestone and calcareous soils bring a flinty & salty character as well as white flowers. The finish is long and broad.
