This is around 95% Chiavennasca (aka Nebbiolo) with the remainder comprised of Rossola and Pignola. The grapes for the 2021 were harvested in early October at yields of 42-56 hl/ha before being gently destemmed and crushed. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel, with macerations of 15 days and is aged 12 months in untoasted 2000L French oak botti. It was bottled in September 2023 and released in December. An outstanding wine at an attractive price that's ready for the dinner table or to be shared with friends!
