Pajore boasts very pure, white limestone soils. Andrea says this vineyard site tends to create more quiet and shy wines, and I see that in the bottle. The aromatics lead with more spice, insense, earth and lithe tart fruit. Since 2023 is a more approachable vintage, I would recommend drinking some now and cellaring some for 5-10 years.
