La Grange aux Belles 2023 Brise d'Aunis 1L

This is 100% Pineau d'Aunis from younger vines grown on the black schist soils of Anjou Noir. It undergoes whole cluster fermentation in fiberglass before aging 6 months. It's light, bright and easy to drink - not the most complex or extracted Pineau d'Aunis but incredibly enjoyable and great with a chill. There are still some subtle tannins and hints of prototypical white pepper on the finish, but overall an easygoing and fresh expression that is exceedingly shareable in the liter bottle!
