From the vineyards Taupes Maison Dieu, Grandes Terres, Monpoulain, En Veve, Les Petits Pres, Les Saussots, and Lameroses at 10,000 vines per hectare. The soils here are clay and limestone. Aged on the fine lees in French oak barrels for 12 months. Notes of dark cherry, cranberry, and pomegranate with a touch of spice and a bit of cocoa at the end. It has a great structure with bright energy and a fairly long finish.
