"Syrah (50% 1970s, 50% 1996) from La Grace on the plain at Mercurol, clay with sand and a lot of rolled stones, very precocious vineyard, with Meridional influences, so an extravagant Syrah, a little Syrah from Les Bâties at Larnage included to calm its fire, 67% whole bunch fermentation, 8-10 day vinification, pumping overs, raised 50% vat, 50% 600-litre oak casks 4-5 months" The 2024 "Printemps" is fresh and light weighing in at about 11.5% alc, with beautiful pure fruit and sweet spices, simply delicious now and over the next 3 - 5 years.
