Cady 2023 Anjou Blanc

The Domaine Cady 2023 Anjou Blanc is 100% Chenin Blanc from numerous parcels on schist with clay soils. The grapes are hand-harvested at full maturity and fermented at low temperature. The color is very pale yellow and bright, with an ethereal bouquet of white flowers and citrus (grapefruit) complemented with subtle aromas of pear, apple and minerals. The palate is light but ripe and racy with stone, dried pear and herbal flavors, at 11.5% alcohol. Beautiful as an aperitif or with seafood, grilled fish or in a light sauce, also with goat cheese. A lovely entry-level Chenin and a sensational value!
