Likely your first (and hopefully not last) wine made from Malbo Gentile. Winemaking brothers Giovanni and Alberto pick early to enhance a spicy aromatic profile.
Light-medium bodied with notes of blueberry, cranberry, and red apple skins, but then opening towards a sanguine, gamey, savory profile. Lots of energy and a bit of a salty spritz make this one of the most unique reds I've had in a while. I would drink this with lamb or duck!
