Apatia 2022 Vin de France Rouge

This is a blend of 70% Cabernet Franc and 30% Tannat done in a combination of stainless steel and concrete vats. Of the reds from Apatia this is the most forward and open, with supple fruit character and some earthy density that integrates nicely right upon opening. Acidity is balanced with very fine tannins, a wine that goes perfectly with anything from roasted duck to steaks on the grill. While delicious now, this could age another five to seven years easily, although it's already showing plenty of character and provides incredible value at the price point.
