Ruth Lewandowski 2023 Mahlon Arneis

This was a highlight when tasting with Evan recently, 100% Arneis from the older vines at Fox Hill Vineyard. Arneis, which translates to "the little rascal" in local Piedmontese dialect, can be a tricky grape to dial in, and this wine is only made in select vintages that allow it. The 2023 is a real standout with a fresh, saline mineral core, beautiful texture and perfectly balanced acidity that ties everything together. It's light, crispy, crunchy and hits all the right notes - an ideal accompaniment to any variety of fresh seafood, particularly oysters.
