Ferme du Mont Benault 2024 VDF Strawberry Fields

The 2024 "Strawberry Fields" is a sensational sweet (yes, sweet!) Rosé made from 80% Pineau D'Aunis and 20% Gamay de Bouze, with about 60 gr/L RS. (think of the superb sweet Pineau D'Aunis "Les Giroflées" from Belliviere). The wine shows subtle, earthy strawberry fruit aromas, the palate is tart and sweet with red currant, cranberry and bright cherry fruit, sapid and dense with a bright vibrant character even with the RS. The finish is long and fresh with the sweet fruit lingering on the palate.
