Importer Note from Palinkerie Imports: "Roots" is a skin-contact Olaszrizling/Tramini/Riesling blend from Bussay's organic estate in Zala. The vines are 40 years old, and were a favorite of Dóri's father. Flavors like dried apricot, citrus, white tea, rose and passion fruit on the nose and palate. Long, deep finish. The wine spent 5 weeks on the skins, and fermentation was spontaneous in 1200 L open vats. The wine remained on the lees for 7 months without racking. Unfiltered and unfined. Olaszrizling 60%, Tramini 20%, Riesling 20%.
