Berry-Althoff 2025 IGP Gard Grenade

This comes from Berry-Althoff's estate vines in Aubais and Aujargues, planted on limestone soils. The blend consists of about 65% Grenache, 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Aramon and 4% Viognier, farmed biodynamically and harvested by hand. Winemaking is a combination of short maceration, 10-day carbonic maceration, and direct pressing, all fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for eight months in concrete eggs and stainless steel tanks. This is a light and easy red that does well with a chill, with bright red fruit and lively acidity. Perfectly delicious on its own but would pair nicely with lighter chicken or pork dishes, tapas, or even seafood.
