Fornerot, Jérôme 2023 Bourgogne Rouge Vieilles Vignes

Sourced from two plots on the outskirts of Santenay that were planted in the 1940s and the 1970s.

The grapes are hand harvested and fully destemmed. The wine is aged in barrel for 10 months and then sits in stainless steel for a month before bottling.

This is an incredibly easy drinking, uncomplicated red Burgundy. The nose is full of cherry and pomegranate, with a touch of spice. This wine is perfectly balanced and will pair well with a wide array of foods, making it an excellent wine to stock up on.
