Ferme du Mont Benault 2025 Petits Cailloux Blanc

The 2025 Petits Cailloux Blanc is a delightful dry white made from Grolleau Gris and Chenin grown on clay/red schist soils. Cerified organic, with minimal added SO2 and low alcohol, about 11.5%, The nose is lovely with citrus, quince and floral aromas with a bit of pear and granny smith. The palate is round and ripe, with white fruits and herbal flavors with the Chenin very evident, showing the 2025 vintage, but perfectly balanced and refreshing with a nice bitter and mineral kick in the refresing finish. This is a beautifully made everyday wine and a great value - thanks to Stephane Rocher for creating such a delicious wine at an affordable price! David Lillie
