Exeterra 2023 Alsace Riesling Muenchberg

The Grand Cru Muenchberg Riesling comes from exceptional terroir consisting of sandstone soils with volcanic sediment. Grapes undergo a long press before aging in stainless steel on their fine lees. The result is a delicate and uplifting wine with subtle aromatics of chamomile and white flowers, with a mineral undertone and gorgeous texture on the palate. It's feathery light but still packs plenty of substance, a unique and contemplative style that's still easy to enjoy with or without food. Still holding strong on day two, it's a wine that has the structure to age nicely although drinking wonderfully now.
