Importer note from Palinkerie Imports: The Blue Rose is a Kékfrankos rosé pét-nat from Wassmann in the warm region of Villány in Hungary. The wine was pressed and the skins were removed immediately, but the ripe juicy grapes released color easily, giving a vibrant ruby color to the wine. Spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel. Flavors like ripe blackberry and watermelon on the nose and palate. The wine is juicy, creamy with a great bright finish. Unfiltered, unfined and not disgorged. Certified organic (2003) and Biodynamic (2011)
