Los Frailes 2022 Rubificado Valencia Tinto

This wine comes from a parcel on limestone that such high iron contecnt that it changed the color of the limestone over millenia, hence the wine's name "Rubificado." Garnacha Tintorera aged in anfora and damijon and Garnacha Tinta. After 1 year aging, the wine is kept an additional 1 year in bottle. These soils are deeper and more porous than the dolomites ones, thus allowing larger storage of water. There is boldness from the Garnacha Tintorera, but the wine still weighs in at a moderate 13.5%.
