Schwarzriesling (Pinot Meunier) from 40+ year old vineyard in Kitzingen, planted in 1988. Organic. Grapes are hand-harvested, then whole clusters are combined with partial pressed juice to macerate for 3 days. The wine is pressed and aged on the lees in stainless steel tanks for a total of 18 months until bottling. Unfined, unfiltered, zero sulfur added. A very pretty representation of Pinot Meunier with nice floral tones, and ripe pomegranate. Bright, fresh, and juicy, making for a very easy drinking wine.
