For those who know the wines of Domaine Prieuré Roch, or even the lore of them, you know that they have become harder and harder to find outside of very select restaurants. Today is a rare opportunity to acquire these wines to drink whenever you'd like.

If you're not familiar with the estate and the wines, the tl;dr is: Domaine Prieuré Roch was founded by Henri Roch, one of the longtime co-Directors of Domaine Romanee Conti. Prieuré Roch was created almost 40 years ago in 1988 to showcase wines farmed biodynamically in exceptional sites and made without intervention.  Holding parcels in Clos de Beze, Les Suchots, and more than one monopole, Prieuré Roch bottles have become extremely sought after over the last decade or so, especially at retail in the US. 

These are versatile wines - you can open a 2022 and enjoy all of the energetic fruit and whole cluster freshness that jump out of the glass, but you can also let them evolve.  I've been very fortunate to taste many old bottles from the Domaine and they are remarkably age-worthy.  And now, thanks to a longtime Burgundy collector, this is our first opportunity to sell more than one or two bottles in many vintages.

On offer today are over 140 bottles (including extremely rare magnums), representing almost every climat from the domaine - from VdF up through the Clos de Beze Grand Cru.  In addition to the variety on offer I'm also happy to say we have meaningful quantities of some of these wines, including the jewel of the domaine: 2021 1er Cru Clos des Corvées. If you're unfamiliar with the wines, the Clos des Corvées is a great place to start, as are the 2019 Coteaux Bourguignons or any of the vintages of Ladoix Le Cloud Rouge. These bottles came from one of most thoughtful collections we've seen, owned by a Northeast collector I've known and worked with for over a decade. The wines will arrive in about two weeks, still in their original boxes.  Happy shopping!
