Vini Rabasco 2024 Cancellino Bianco

This is 100% Trebbiano from La Conchetta Vineyard, with vines averaging 40 years of age and sitting around 450 meters above sea level. While they say it is direct pressed, there is definitely some texture here and a deep golden color, with peach and apricot aromatics along with some savory white pepper and spice. The fruit rolls across the palate and the finish is long and savory with low tannins but perfectly balanced acidity. Drinking somewhere between an orange and white wine, this would be great with roasted chicken or vegetables, or pasta with white sauce. Serve chilled but not too cold and enjoy!
