Vendange 2024 Mondeuse Le Coz

This is an outstanding Mondeuse from Domaine Vendange, coming from 10 hectares of south-facing vineyards situated just east of Chambery on the foothills of the Bauges Mountains, in the valley of Combe de Savoie, near the hamlet of Miolanet. The terroir of Saint-Pierre-d’Albigny features glacier carved slopes, with soils composed of glacial moraine, a mix of limestone, scree, and silty-clay. Farming is organic, certified starting with the 2024 vintage, and winemaking is done in a minimal-intervention way. It is a lighter expression of Mondeuse that does well with a slight chill, bright and focused with hints of dark fruit but zippy acid and great freshness.
