Turi Marino 2025 Rosato IGT Terre Siciliane

The Marinos have 7.5 hectares of vines, the majority being Catarratto and Nero d'Avola with just a tiny slice of Syrah, which is used exclusively for this dark, savory, spicy rosato. The organically farmed bush vines are harvested by hand and the bunches kept whole for direct pressing with no maceration. The juice is fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tank with temperature control. The wine is aged in tank until the spring following the harvest and bottled without fining or filtration. "Turi" is the Sicilian nickname for Salvatore Marino's first name.
