Torremilanos 2019 Ribera del Duero Blanco Gran Reserva

Only produced in exceptional vintages. 90% Albillo Mayor from 80 year old vines, 10% Viura from a single, 180 year old parcel. Certified biodynamic. Aged in barrel and bottle for at least 4 years. Unfined, unfiltered, and just 20 mg/L of sulfur added ahead of bottling. The nose shows salted almond, butternut sqush, butter, fresh flowers and gives way to a palate of tremendous richness and structure. Powerful acidity and a ridiculously long finish are reminders that though this wine is gorgeous now (especially with some air), it will evolve gracefully over the coming decade or two.
