Anthony Thévenet apprenticed for 7 years with Georges Descombes and 5 years with Jean Foillard - his goal is to create light, fruit-driven wines that capture the essence of the terroir and offer pure enjoyment. His 2023 Beaujolais-Villages is medium-bodied and bright with lovely berry fruits, from 3 small parcels in Lancié. (Whole cluster vatting in concrete tank for a better oxygenation. Saturation with carbonic gas to avoid oxidation and foster yeasts activity. 10-25 days of carbonic fermentation. No pumping. Everything is performed by gravity.)
