Tabordet 2023 Sancerre Rouge

The 2023 Tabordet Sancerre Rouge is 100% Pinot Noir grown on two parcels ("Champs de la Noue" and "Pichon") on Kimmeridgian marl soils. Biodynamic and organic certified, hand harvested with a 21-day cuvaison, 20% whole-cluster, wild-yeast fermentation and elevage in cuve inox. The wine shows an intense ruby color due to the good phenolic maturity achieved in September. The aromas are pure with great finesse, raspberry and morello cherry with floral notes. The palate shows beautiful ripeness and intensity but remains light and balanced with firm, silky tanins and terrific length of red fruits and minerals. Delicious with veal and pork and a good accompaniment to full flavored fish. Serve cool and enjoy over the next 3 to 5 years.
