The Nebbiolo is sourced from the bottom of the slope in Basarin from 25 year old vines. It could be Barbaresco with further aging, but Andrea is choosing to only use his older vines in Barbaresco. The sandier soils on this part of the slope impart a fresh, friendly and light expression of the grape.
