This wine was my personal favorite from my tasting with Andrea Sottimano! It's profile was the most 'balsamic', not in the vinegar sense, but rather meaning a luscious profile with pine, spice, licorice, and fruit in perfect balance. Andrea feels this wine is a classic representation of Neive, as Fausoni is in the heart of the cru with sand and clay soils.
