The Rousset 2023 Crozes "Les Méjeans" is a superb new cuvée made with Syrah from 60 year-old vines on a granite terroir near the village of Crozes. The aromas are bright and pretty with black fruits, the palate is dense and serious, really showing the granite, a real "gourmandise" as the French would say, delicious now but best after 3 to 5 years of cellaring. This is a great value in classic northern Rhone Syrah!
