This vineyard has been monopolised by and also the home to Roagna's Barolo estate since 1989. Its 7 hectares under vine is the largest parcel that the family farms, up to 6 different micro plots can be isolated here with differences in vine age and soil composition. Nebbiolo vines for the wine are 25-50 years of age, fermentation lasts ten days in large wood casks. They ferment with a pied de cuve made from their indigenous yeasts. They then use the technique of submerged cap -- which can last 60-75 days.
