This is a classic blend from the Douro of Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and Tinto Cão. Partially destemmed, wild yeast fermented in stainless steel, and aged 50/50 in French oak and stainless. It's a medium/full red with freshness and acidity giving lift to concentrated dark fruit, coffee grounds and dried flowers. Good aging potential but delicious now with food, particularly grilled red meats and all things braised.
