Rossese is a grape indigenous to Liguria. Punta Crena's Rossese is light bodied, with raspberry, cranberry, pink peppercorn and herbs. A touch of tar and tannin brings Nebbiolo to mind, but with a coastal salty freshness that is lovely with a slight chill.
