Oltretorrente 2022 Barbera Superiore Colli Tortonesi

100% Barbera, harvested from 2 parcels (Gatti and Battorella) amounting to one hectare, planted between 1920 and 1960 on calcareous clay with southern exposure.  The grapes are destemmed and are fermented sponateously in concrete tanks. Macerations for the 2022 vintage were three weeks to a month.  The wine was aged for 18 months in used barriques of 225 and 300L. Bottled with a wide filtration and bottled aged for an additional six months before release. -Bowler Wine
