From the importer, GK Selections: A blend of roughly equal parts Castelao, Trincadeira, Aragonez (Tempranillo), and Tinta Grossa from several old plots around 80-90 years of age. The fruit is foot trodden in lagar with 20% of the stems, and allowed to macerate on the skins until fermentation starts. Then the wine is gently pressed off the skins and moved to stainless steel for fermentation and aging on the fine lees for 10 months.
