Madonna delle Grazie 2020 Aglianico del Vulture Liscone

The grapes for Liscone are from the younger vines off the main vineyard. Young is relative here, as they are almost 40 years old Aglianico vines! Soils here are very dark and pure volcanic ash. Aged 18 months in steel, then one year in old 500l French oak.

Building in body and fruit density from Messer Oto, Liscone shows bitter cherry, plum skins, black tea, rocks, and smoke with medium to high tannins.
