Lardot 2023 Mosel Riesling Alte Kirche

A single vineyard Riesling from a 0.3 hectare plot in Palmberg. In former vintages this was called 'die Winzerin' and was renamed to alte Kirche meaning 'Old Church.' The grapes are crushed and macerated overnight before pressing. Fermented in barrel on the full lees, racked onto the fine lees after 18 months and then bottled after 4 additional months of aging. A truly stunning Riesling with florals, spice, and citrus. This wine has amazing depth and concentration with bright acidity.
