The gorgeous 2021 CDR Villages "Echevin" is from the "Terroir Les Oliviers" at 1200 ft on the north-west facing hill in Saint Maurice. The high altidue gives the wine freshness to balance the lush red and black fruits - blackberry, red currant, hints of blueberry from the Syrah.
