In 2023, Stéphane Guion changed his sparkling Rosé into a Crémant de Loire! The grapes are grown on clay/limestone soils in Bourgueil, certified organic and Biodynamic. Hand harvested into small crates, pneumatic press, no yeast or SO2 added during vinification. 12 months aging sur lie before disgorgement, 12% alcohol. The wine shows a very slight blush of pink, with hints of rose, red currant and citrus fruit, surprisingly elegant. The mousse is lively and bright, in perfect balance with subtle red fruits, citrus, stone and minerals, finishing with hints of red berries and creamy acidity. Wow, delicious.
