Gros, Anne 2021 Bourgogne Rouge

Anne took over her family domaine in 1988 at 25 years old. She worked to over double the Domaine’s size which is now 6.5 hectares. Anne has always made elegant wines from some of the best real estate Burgundy has to offer in Vosne-Romanee and Chambolle-Musigny

A blend of 3 parcels, Les Champs d’argent, Les Glapigny, and Les Pasquiers which are situated on the edge of Nuits-St-Georges and Flagey-Echezeaux with an average vine age of 40 years. After fermentation the wines are aged in 30% new oak, providing weight and suppleness. Even with its less notable designation, these wines have impressive ageing potential.
