This is an orange wine made of 100% Viognier, which sees two and a half weeks of semi-carbonic maceration followed by about six months in neutral French oak. The color is that of a hazy sunset, with peach fruit and spice that balance the juicy acidity. For those averse to Viognier, this will surely quell any of those preconceived notions about being soft or lacking acidity. It's a lovely textural wine, approachable and easygoing for an orange wine but still with nice depth of flavor.
