Elio Altare 2023 Langhe Nebbiolo

A beautiful Langhe Nebbiolo coming from the Altare family in La Morra. Two vineyard plots of 20-50 year old vines based in La Morra around the cantina and Monforte just outside the Ginestra cru provide all the fruit for this bottling. Classic Nebbiolo aromatics of roses, tar and ripe red cherries with an almost whole clusterlike freshness! Fantastic wine from the original modernist in Barolo!
